While operating as CEO in 2014, I became aware of the strikingly low number of women serving as CEOs in public limited companies or holding board positions at the time. Through my network, I got involved with an organization that not only highlighted this issue but actively worked to improve the situation.

This led to nearly seven years as Speaking Chair in the organisation Kvinder i Bestyrelser (“Women on Boards”).

From then on, I have proudly embraced the title of Diversity Activist.

The goal is bringing additional talent and competent individuals into play.

Before, during, and after my time with Kvinder i Bestyrelser, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and collaborating with countless skilled professionals—both men and women – to obtain and maintain a strong focus on the benefits of diversity.
